Indianapolis 500 Postcards

1909 - Present

Post cards with an Indianapolis Motor Speedway theme have been issued since the June balloon race and August auto races of 1909.

There are four main standard sizes: 3 1/2” x 5 1/2”, 4” x 6”, 5” x 7” and 6” x 9”. There are also odd size cards with the largest at 8 x 1/2” x 11”*.
