1st Turn Gang
Once again this year you are invited to
become part of The lst Turn Gang. We will
be holding our annual meeting on the Last
Day of Qualifications (May 21) at the
Speedway. As in past years, we will con-
gregate in "E" Stand, Section 11 or 18, in
the top two rows. We take in the action on
the track and discuss racing memorabilia
collecting. While putting faces to names in
the club, we tell and listen to stories and
have some laughs between qualifying at-
tempts. So, if you are at the track on Bump
Day and get in the first turn area, we hope
you will stop by and join us, or at least say
"HI".

The Talk of Gasoline Alley
Donald Davidson's annual radio show
will once again be aired on radio station
WIBC lO70-AM. "The Talk of Gasoline Alley"
was originally a .'stump the expert"
format where listenrs would call Donald and ask him
"who finished where in what year?" and he whould answer. Soon
that ran it's course as it is no fun when he is
never wrong! I used to laugh when Donald
would say something like, "well, you know
starting positions are not one of the categories
I know," and then proceed to tell
who started where and when.
The show is scheduled everyday from
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The post-race wrap-up
show is a must for our family. On the way
home from yet another Indianapolis 500
Donald usually has apiece of information
you wanted to know about the day's event.
